AUSTIN, TX – December 21, 2021 – Eugene & Associates, PC, a Texas boutique law firm specializing in education and regulatory law, public finance, renewable energy, and nonprofit and compliance law, today announced a major expansion of its practice, with the addition of a new associate attorney and the expansion of the duties of its administrative personnel.

“Even in the face of this terrible pandemic, our firm has been blessed with major growth over the last year, and thanks to our wonderful clients and business allies, we are poised for additional growth in 2022,” said managing shareholder, Darrick W. Eugene.

“I am proud to announce this bolstering of our capacity to handle our burgeoning book of business with zero drop-off in our high standards of client service,” he added.

Paige Bostic, the newest attorney to join the firm, brings a strong education pedigree. Growing up in a household including a school superintendent father and a master teacher mother, Ms. Bostic began her career as a third-grade teacher in the Houston area.

During her tenure at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Ms. Bostic was a senior editor of the law review, was appointed Student Bar Association General Counsel, served as a class representative, was a Thurgood Marshall College Fund Scholar and clerked for the Honorable Judge Kenneth M. Hoyt, a federal judge in the the Southern District of Texas.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in the spring of 2020, she worked in the corporate sector at JP Morgan Chase as an associate in operational risk and anti-corruption compliance.

Despite the demanding hours of a law practice, Ms. Bostic still makes time for civic service.  She created “Faith Without Works” a scholarship fund aimed at helping poor and economically disadvantaged students enter the legal field.  Through the Firm, she hopes to expand this work into a mentorship program and partner with other philanthropic organizations.

Mr. Eugene also announced the expansion of his administrative staff. In 2020, Celena Harvey joined the firm as a part-time administrative assistant.  Celena is a Houston Texas native whose passion for helping children led to an 11-year career as director of a licensed childcare center.

Ms. Harvey’s educational background includes studies at Lamar University as well as Texas Southern University where she received an associates degree in Child and Family Development. She brings her substantial administrative, organizational and customer service skills to Eugene & Associates leading to her steadily expanding role as administrative assistant and office manager.

“With these significant investments in our service infrastructure, Eugene and Associates is ready to make the next big leap,” Mr. Eugene said. “And we are committed to ensuring that leap will not only benefit our clients and the members of our firm but the community as well.  That’s not just what we do; that’s who we are.”
