The Aroundtown Foundation supports the children’s foundation “Die Arche” throughout Germany. The funds are used to purchase urgently needed laptops and technical equipment, as well as to pay staff for homework supervision throughout Germany. With this concrete help and on-site support, the Aroundtown Foundation is helping to ensure that “Die Arche” can continue to expand its care services for socially disadvantaged children, especially during Corona times.
In the fight against child poverty in Germany, “Die Arche” is particularly committed to children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The association was founded on the initiative of Pastor Bernd Siggelkow in 1995 in Berlin-Hellersdorf. There are now around 27 locations throughout Germany, reaching more than 4,500 children and young people.
“Die Arche” sees it as its task to draw public attention to social grievances in our society and to campaign on a broad level for a lasting improvement in the living conditions of disadvantaged children and families in our country.
The work with children, young people and families comprises six basic principles: LEISURE – meaningful leisure activities, EATING – free meals, LEARNING – effective educational support, FRIENDS – sustainable relationship work, HOLIDAYS – eventful vacation camps, FAMILY – help and advice for parents.

The Aroundtown Foundation wants to use its financial means to support projects for children and youths as well as for elderly and elderly care, for art and culture, with educational institutions, sports offers and charitable purposes.
