HirschmannPrivate Introduces Expanded Order Types and Smart Routing Options Across All Account Tiers

AMSTERDAM, August 14, 2026. HirschmannPrivate has announced a significant update to its order management infrastructure, making bracket orders, trailing stop orders, and configurable conditional entries available to traders across every account tier on the platform. The release also introduces smart routing options at the point of execution, giving traders greater control over how and when orders interact with available liquidity.

The update applies to existing accounts without requiring any action from users, and all new order types are accessible from the standard order ticket within the platform interface.

Bracket Orders and Trailing Stops Now Part of the Standard Order Ticket

At the centre of the release is the addition of bracket order functionality, which allows a trader to attach both a profit target and a stop loss to an opening position in a single submission. Previously, these had to be set as separate modifications after the initial order was placed. The updated order ticket consolidates all three fields, entry, target, and stop, into one workflow, reducing the steps required to build a structured position.

Trailing stop orders are now available as a native order type rather than a manual workaround. A trader can set a trail distance in either points or percentage terms, and the stop level adjusts automatically as the position moves in their favour. The trail distance can be modified while the position is open, and the order remains visible in the open positions panel alongside the current trailing level.

Both order types are available across the full instrument range, including indices, commodities, currency pairs, and individual equities, without restriction by account type.

Conditional Entries Give Traders a Second Trigger Layer

The update also introduces configurable conditional entry orders, which allow a position to open only when a secondary market condition is met, not simply when a price level is reached. A trader can, for example, specify that a limit entry activates only if a particular instrument has traded above a reference level within a defined time window, or only during a specific session period.

This type of conditional logic has been available on institutional and professional platforms for some time, and its inclusion in a retail-facing environment reflects a broader shift in how traders approach order management. Rather than monitoring screens for confirmation signals, a trader can build the condition directly into the order and let the execution layer handle it.

“The findings from our latest product roadmap review made clear that order precision was the area where our infrastructure had the most room to improve,” said a spokesperson for HirschmannPrivate. “Bracket orders and trailing stops address the structural gap. The conditional entry layer addresses something more nuanced, the growing expectation among traders that execution should respond to market context, not just price. Those are two different problems, and we have tried to solve them separately rather than bundle them into a single feature.”

Smart Routing Options at the Execution Stage

Alongside the order type expansion, HirschmannPrivate has added configurable smart routing options to the execution interface. When placing a market or limit order, traders can select from routing preferences that prioritise speed of fill, best available price, or a balanced approach that weighs both factors. The selection is stored per instrument, so a trader who consistently prioritises fill speed on a volatile index can set that preference once and have it applied to subsequent orders on that instrument without entering the choice again.

The routing options are presented within the existing order ticket rather than as a separate settings menu, keeping the additional controls close to the point of decision rather than buried in account preferences. The current routing selection and its rationale are displayed in a tooltip adjacent to the field, which HirschmannPrivate says was a deliberate design choice to ensure traders understand what they are selecting rather than treating it as a default they never revisit.

The spokesperson added that the routing architecture had been through an internal validation period of several months before release. “We ran the routing logic against historical order data across asset classes before making it available. The goal was to confirm that the preference selections produced meaningfully different outcomes in real conditions, not just on paper. We would not have shipped it if the differences were marginal.”

Availability and What Traders Need to Do

All features described in this announcement are live and available to traders at every account tier without any required action. There is no separate activation process. Traders will see the updated order ticket the next time they open a position, and all new order type fields include in-ticket guidance text explaining what each option does and how it affects the order.

Educational material covering each new order type, including worked examples for bracket orders and illustrative scenarios for conditional entries, has been added to the platform’s learning section. HirschmannPrivate has indicated that a live session covering practical use of the updated order management tools will be scheduled and announced through the platform’s notification system in the coming weeks.

Traders with questions about the update, or about how specific order types apply to instruments they currently hold or follow, are encouraged to contact the platform’s support team through the live chat and ticket functions available within their accounts.
