SIMSITE Impellers Extend Maintenance Schedules for Pump Equipment!

1.2

POSH Background: POSH Fleet Services owns, manages, and operates a fleet of more than 80 vessels designed to high specifications, to support the entire life cycle of offshore marine projects and platforms.

Problem: Normally metallic impellers are corroded, cavitated, eroded and degraded after continuous use in Seawater for a period of less than 2.5 years. As a result, we have to constantly change Impellers and Casing Rings before the schedule maintenance.

Results: The 1st SIMSITE® Structural Composite Impeller & Casing Ring Set that was installed in our vessels has already lasted over 3 years and still working like new with NO Performance Deterioration! We have also purchased SIMSITE® Impellers and Casing Rings for our other pumps for our off-shore Accommodation Vessels, the Arcadia and the Xanadu.

Customer Comments:
“I have been using SIMSITE® Impellers for around 15 years in my previous offshore jobs, and used them for both Seawater and Fresh Water service pumps. The quality of the SIMSITE® structural composite products are first class and top notch! SIMSITE® Products have been working excellent, and they have extended the maintenance schedules of the pump equipment, and as a result of using SIMSITE Impellers & Rings, we purchase less spare parts!
