Mark Enlow recently discussed the importance of the North Bay Children’s Center.
The North Bay Children’s Center (NBCC) has been transforming lives in the San Francisco are for more than 30 years. Mark Enlow, a donor who put forth $1 million for this organization, recently discussed the North Bay Children’s Center’s many accomplishments.
“I am thankful to be able to support this organization and all the good it creates for children and entire families throughout the area,” Mark Enlow said. “I hope this contribution helps the North Bay Children’s Center continue to thrive and provide even more services than ever before.”
The North Bay Children’s Center was created with a mission of providing all children with equal access to the brightest future possible. The organization works toward this mission in numerous ways, including providing healthy meals to children in schools, providing child care for working parents, and provide unique educational opportunities.
“This organization nurtures the North Bay’s children in many waves,” Mark Enlow said. “The goal is to help kids advance socially, academically, and emotionally, so they can thrive.”
Enlow explained that the North Bay Children’s Center experts believe a child’s early education and care is essential to future success. This facility provides the highest quality education to prepare kids for school. Programs include health and wellness, self-sufficiency, school readiness, and more.
North Bay Children’s Center programs are available for infants, toddlers, young preschoolers, preschoolers, and older kids. Before and after school programs are available as well as summer camps.
“The North Bay Children’s Center was one of the very first children’s education programs to place nutrition education in the daily curriculum,” Enlow said. “This is just one way to see that the organization truly cares about our youth. The quality instructors are always seeking new ways to provide kids and families with the support they need to live better lives, now and in the future.”
The NBCC is dedicated to bridging the gap between upper and lower class families. Children who grow up in economically secure families have an advantage over those who do not, and the NBCC is fighting to provide upward mobility for those who may not have the same opportunities as others. The organization gives working and single parents relief by providing top-quality child care that prepares their little ones to become highly-educated, skilled workers too.
