Phoenix, AZ, (April 26) – Mindset Medical, LLC announced the receipt of a seed investment from Amgen Ventures. The proceeds will be used for further development of the Informed Mindset Medical virtual health platform and to integrate Mindset Medical’s proprietary non-contact physiological measurements into the platform. The terms of the investment were not disclosed.
Mindset Medical, LLC, (Mindsetmedical.com) headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, has developed and introduced a virtual health solution that combines the safety and convenience of a virtual health visit with the clinical patient health information necessary to conduct a complete and informed remote exam or appointment. Using secure and encrypted links delivered by SMS text messaging, the healthcare provider can update patient health information, collect up-to-the-minute patient conditions, remotely monitor patient outcomes and recovery, and conduct a secure virtual health visit. Mindset Medical will add the ability to collect physiological measurements and patient vitals during the virtual visit, greatly enhancing the clinical quality of the visit or exam. No hardware or specialized devices are required, with all connection and communication conducted on the patient’s smartphone or tablet.
Founded in 2016, Mindset Medical is in active use across the United States at clinics, research hospitals and select Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN’s). With initial focus in Spine, Neurology and Pain Management specialties, Informed Mindset Medical is used by approximately 25 Doctors, Surgeons and Researchers supporting approximately 25,000 patients.
