Huawei Y9s with 6.59-inch Full HD+ Display, 48MP Triple Camera Setup Launched in India: Price, Launch Offers

The Huawei Y9s has finally been listed on Amazon for sale in India after the device had been launched nearly six months back in late 2019. Alongside the Y9s, Huawei sub-brand Honor has also unveiled a new product called the Honor 9X Pro, which is a Flipkart exclusive. While the former is said to come with Google services, the latter is devoid of it and instead opts for Huawei’s Play Store alternative called as App Gallery.

Huawei Y9s Price and availability

Priced at Rs 19,990, the Huawei Y9s, with its single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version, will be available exclusively on Amazon starting from May 19. The device will be arriving in three colour options which are Midnight Black, Breathing Crystal, and Phantom Purple. There is a 9 months no-cost EMI option present on the purchase of the device.

The device happens to have a 6.59-inch IPS LCD panel with an Ultra FullView display and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. The selfie shooter on the Huawei Y9s is present on a pop-out camera mechanism. The device measures 163.1mm x 77.2mm x 8.8mm and weighs 206grams.

Inside the phone has a  Kirin 710F chaipset that is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also an option to expand the memory using a microSD card to 512GB. Like the Honor 9X Pro, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication purposes.

Apart from this, in the camera department, the phone happens to have a 48MP primary sensor which is supported by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. The pop-up selfie shooter has a 16MP sensor. Software-wise the phone runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 (Pie) and will have Google Play services, unlike the Honor 9X Pro which will have Huawei’s App Gallery.
