The Lifestyle of Women

Health and Fitness

What is Women’s Health?

The term “women’s health” refers to the health of women.

The World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, not only the absence of sickness or infirmity.”

Women’s health is thus an illustration of population health.

What is Women’s Fitness?

Women can be equally as fit as males, but their “fitness” will never be identical. It is because women’s bodies are not the same as men’s. Not only do men and women have distinct hormone levels, but they also have varying amounts of fat and muscle in their bodies. So, working out for you, according to your gender, body mass, and aim goals, should be your goal.

5 Myths About Women’s Fitness

  • After a workout, you shouldn’t eat anything.
  • Exercising specific muscles causes fat to burn in the target area.
  • Free weights aren’t as effective as exercise machines.
  • Walking Is Not as Good as Running.
  • A woman’s body will get bulky as a result of strength training.

Work and Money

What is Women’s Work?

Woman’s work is work that is thought to be solely the realm of women, and it refers to stereotypical occupations that have been linked with the female sex throughout history. However, it is mainly used for unpaid labor that a mother or wife performs in the home and family.

Women’s labor is typically unpaid or paid at a lower rate than “men’s work,” which is less valued than “men’s work.” Partially, the work done by women is not counted in official labor statistics, making much of what they perform virtually invisible.
