Covid-19 has brought a lot of changes for the travel purpose since last year and most of the countries did not allow the visitors to your country and India too has a banned international flight on a regular basis reason being the pandemic. But UK is among few countries which allowed the visitors in their country and started the centre for processing the UK visa. UK Visa Mumbai was among the first centre to start the standard/visitor visa process.
Visa processing after the lockdown has almost remained the same as earlier except for applicants could collect the passport from the VFS centre once the visa process was completed but due to current scenario it has been stopped and mandatory courier facility has been started to deliver the passport.
Another important factor which changed with the pandemic was the Negative Corona test result to be presented at the airport while traveling to the UK. The corona test can be taken 48-96 hrs before the scheduled flight.
