Does plastic surgery interest you? Have you ever thought about having a cosmetic procedure done? Do you want to know more about specific plastic surgery procedures? More important, do you want to learn all about plastic surgery from plastic surgeons themselves – the very people behind the scalpel? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you need to check out the new plastic surgery podcast called Three Plastic Surgeons and a Microphone that is hosted by, you guessed it, three plastic surgeons – Dr. Sam Jejurikar (Dallas, Texas), Dr. Salvatore Pacella (San Diego, California), and Dr. Sam Rhee (New Jersey/New York).

Dr. Jejurikar, along with his colleagues and long-time friends, Dr. Pacella and Dr. Rhee, started the Three Plastic Surgeons and a Microphone podcast in June 2020, with a new episode once a week. So, what exactly do they talk about concerning plastic surgery? Well, everything! Let’s take a look.

What the Podcast is All About

Times have sure changed. It used to be, if you wanted to hear a doctor’s opinion or in-depth information about a medical issue or surgical procedure, you had to have a one-on-one consultation with that doctor in office, which meant scheduling an appointment, sometimes months in advance, and actually going to the doctor’s office to have a conversation. It took time. It took effort. And, sometimes, it’d be for nothing because maybe you didn’t mesh well with the doctor or you didn’t quite get all your questions answered, so then you’d have to start all over with another doctor.

Now all you have to do is tune into the latest podcast on your phone or computer to hear what doctors have to say. You can type your questions right into the comment box and have them answered live on their podcast. Sometimes, you can even call in to talk to them during their podcast. You can hear them talk about specific medical procedures, such as what’s involved, what the recovery time is like, who would most benefit from the procedure, and how the procedure can make a difference in your life. You’ll learn all about plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, and treatments. You’ll learn what’s in, what’s out, and you’ll hear the latest news on new and improved treatments and surgical procedures.

Topics Discussed

The premier episode of the podcast offers an introduction of each of the three plastic surgeons – Dr. Jejurikar, Dr. Pacella, and Dr. Rhee, and they talk about life as medical professionals during the Covid-19 pandemic. They also discuss a mommy makeover case and an illegal silicone injection case. They also briefly talk about some of the most recent news in the plastic surgery world.

The second episode is all about cosmetic surgery for men. It’s so much more common to hear about women getting cosmetic surgery, so they go into the reasons why men might decide to get cosmetic surgery and how cosmetic surgery for men is different than it is for women. They also discuss facial rejuvenation, breast reduction, and non-surgical rejuvenation using fillers such as Botox, Juvederm, Restylane for men.

In the third episode, Dr. Jejurikar talks with Dr. Pacella and Dr. Rhee about the misconceptions and myths associated with plastic surgery. Take a look here for a full list of the myths discussed. The doctors also discuss how they’re keeping their patients safe amid Covid-19 and what the Covid conditions are like in each of the areas the doctors live and work.

Episode four covers breast cancer. The doctors speak with a breast cancer survivor and the things she’s had to overcome since being diagnosed with breast cancer. They also discuss the types of breast reconstruction after cancer, the first steps to take after being diagnosed, and they offer some advice on how to prepare for and what to expect when having surgery and breast reconstruction.

In episode five, the doctors discuss everything you’d ever want to know about gluteal enhancement. They also talk about a new treatment for reducing cellulite.

As you can see, the doctors cover an array of plastic surgery topics in their new podcast. To see what topics they have coming up on their podcast and the times and dates of upcoming podcasts, follow them on Facebook or subscribe to their YouTube channel.
