V12 Health® Fills Void in Medical Supply Chain After US Customs Seizes Subpar Malaysian Imported Gloves

MIAMI, March 22, 2021 – US Customs seized and disposed of tons of low quality Malaysian-made gloves in recent days leaving a void in the medical glove supply chain that was filled by V12 Health®. The company stepped up and increased manufacturing capacity to yield essential industry orders with their acclaimed product.

“A lot of people will be furious this week because they spent millions of dollars on critically needed gloves they will never receive,” says V12 Health Founder and CEO, Tarek Kirschen.

V12 Health is an FDA registered and ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of medical and chemo rated Nitrile gloves, TPE gloves, and medical gowns.  At the height of the pandemic in 2020 they opened doors in Miami and transitioned to manufacturing their own line of products, moving away from dependence on Malaysia and Thailand, which currently supplies more than 60 percent of the global gloves market.
