Interview with Lana, HERCARESS Co-Founder

Q: Lana, thanks for being here. Tell us how you got started with HERCARESS.

Lana: Hey, thanks for having me! Basically, I saw a huge gap in the market for women’s health products. Stuff wasn’t safe, inclusive, or easy to get. As a woman, I wanted to create products that let us take charge of our health and feel good about ourselves. I wanted products that support us in those personal moments and help us connect with our bodies.

Q: Women’s rights are a big deal to you, especially autonomy. How do you think women’s health products fit into that?

Lana: That’s a good question. Women’s health is a basic right, and sexual wellness is part of that. For too long, women’s bodies have been taboo, especially when it comes to self-pleasure and reproductive health. Sexual wellness products? They’re not just gadgets. They’re about taking back control, feeling safe, and enjoying your body without shame. It’s about freedom. We’re making products that are empowering and accessible, helping women own their bodies.

Q: You mentioned autonomy. Where does society still need to step up when it comes to supporting women’s health?

Lana: We’ve got a long way to go. There’s still a ton of stigma around stuff like periods, sexual wellness, and self-care. People get uncomfortable talking about it. We need to open up the conversation and educate people. Women deserve access to healthcare and the freedom to make choices about their bodies. And they need real info to make those choices.

Q: How do you make sure HERCARESS products are inclusive and empowering?

Lana: We design for all women—age, race, background, doesn’t matter. Inclusivity means more than just having a range of products. It’s about creating a safe space where everyone feels seen. We use body-safe materials, sustainable practices, and we talk to women from all walks of life. And we keep things affordable because health shouldn’t break the bank.

Q: HERCARESS is making waves in sexual wellness. What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced, and how do you handle it?

Lana: The stigma, hands down. People still get weird about talking about sexual wellness, especially for women. We keep pushing for openness. We start conversations, create educational content, and make it normal to talk about women’s pleasure and health. When women feel safe, they share their experiences, and that spreads the word.

Q: What’s your vision for the future of women’s health products, and how does HERCARESS fit in?

Lana: I see a future where these products are totally normal, like any other health product. They’re part of everyday self-care. And I see brands building communities where women can find support and resources. We’ll keep advocating for access, inclusivity, and empowerment.

Q: Any advice for women taking control of their health, especially sexual well-being?

Lana: Listen to your body. Take your time. Don’t be afraid to find out what you like, and don’t let anyone shame you. Get educated, find your support system, and put your health first. You deserve to feel confident and good about yourself.

Bottom Line:

Lana gets it: women’s health and autonomy go together. We’ve still got work to do, but with people like her, the future of women’s health products looks bright. Let’s keep breaking down barriers and supporting each other.
