Few Tips To Design Effective Outdoor Banners

If your banners are designed appropriately, then they will be the most effective tool for your advertising and marketing. If they are not appropriately designed, then they cannot make much impact that you must have thought.

Suppose you are displaying a Miami Banner for two seconds to attract someone’s attention, then make sure that its design is easily readable and also can be digested. Nobody will take time to stand near your banner and read every line written in small text to understand what that means to them.

So, the following are a few useful tips that you must keep in your mind while designing your banner.

1.Right font size

While designing your banner, it is important to choose the right size of the font so that people can easily see and read it without any difficulty.  Typically, you must choose the letter size of 10” height for visibility of every 100 feet.

2.Right banner size

Often, people try to cut the corners by purchasing a small banner to show their marketing message. However, that may never come to the notice of anyone passing from there. Choose an appropriate length and breadth of your banner.

3.Keep it simple

Your message should be as simple and clear as possible. Nobody is judging your language skills and has time to decipher your message. Your message must be simple and crisp that touches anyone’s heart.

4.Lights and visibility

The placement of your banner is also important. There should be enough lights available so that people can see. It should not get hidden by any tall building or a big tree.

5.Color and contrast

Bright colors can always attract the attention of the viewers. Make sure that the color of the letter and its background must have a good contrast so that the letters are clearly visible and readable.

6.Maintain your focal point

Your main message that you want to convey is the focal point, which should be designed in such a way that anybody’s eye will naturally draw attention to that. If the focal point is not highlighted then the message will be missed by your viewers.

7.Call for an action

The marketing message that you have displayed on your banner should motivate or instigate your viewers to take certain positive action after seeing your advertisement.

8.Make your purpose clear

Whatever message that you want to convey through your banner must be simple, straightforward, easily understandable so that readers know what you are trying to tell them.

9.Timing

Make your message long enough to convey your purpose and short enough so that any viewer can read within few seconds. Nobody will stop and stand there to read your message. One should be able to quickly read while driving their car.

10.Location

You should choose to display your banner where you can expect very high traffic. Or if you want to target a specific audience then choose the location of your banner where there is a maximum chance of the presence of your targetted audience.
