The desk is built with the same minimalist aesthetics that have come to define Autonomous’ product line, including its popular ErgoChair 2 and SmartDesk 2. Users can now use the app to remember custom preset heights that are precisely tuned to the individual users’ preferences, as well as lifting and lowering at will, essentially turning any device into a SmartDesk 4 remote control.<\/span><\/p>\n Users can also set a custom sit-stand schedule to ensure adequate time spent sitting and standing throughout the day. This can be set to custom intervals or chosen from Autonomous’ own curated presets based on the Pomodoro method, a time management tool that integrates sitting and standing sessions, as well as blocks of time for work and scheduled breaks.<\/span><\/p>\n In addition, the app features a library of free exercise videos that show users how to do simple exercises right at their desks. The app is also a portal to the latest news and promotions from Autonomous, so customers can take advantage of discounts and special deals as soon as they are available.<\/span><\/p>\n Though previous SmartDesk models have been hailed for their build quality and rock-solid performance, the SmartDesk 4 features even more new hardware improvements over its predecessors, with a new dual-motor electric engine that is quieter than ever, at just 40 dB.
