BBC Three<\/a> has taken UK rights to Luca Guadagnino<\/a>’s debut TV project, the eight-part series We Are Who We Are<\/a><\/em>, from Fremantle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Starring Chloë Sevigny, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Alice Braga, the show tells the story of two American kids who live on a U.S. military base in Italy. The series explores friendship, first-love, identity, and immerses the audience in all the messy exhilaration and anguish of being a teenager. It was selected as part of this year’s Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight, though didn’t screen as the fest was cancelled by the pandemic.<\/p>\n

The project is a HBO-Sky series produced by Lorenzo Mieli for The Apartment and by Mario Gianani for Wildside, both Fremantle Companies, with Small Forward.<\/p>\n
