In a massive, long awaited updated, Dreams<\/strong><\/em><\/a> for the PS4<\/a> now features PSVR capabilities. The game was originally intended to release with VR integration back in February, but the idea was momentarily delayed to optimize the games basic systems. Now players are finally able to explore the vast possibilities that VR brings to the title, PSVR may be a worthy investment for this game alone.<\/p>\n

Dreams is a game creation tool developed by Media Molecule, the studio behind LittleBigPlanet<\/em> and Tearaway,<\/em> in which players can either produce their own games or play those of others. The game is very community driven, allowing for easy game publication and updating. Featuring simplified, easy to learn systems, game development experience is not required<\/a> to create some extraordinary works. With limitless possibilities, Dreams<\/em> has a lot to offer.<\/p>\n

The key attraction of Dreams<\/em> is the Do-It-Yourself gameplay style. This means that upon purchasing the game, players now have access to an ever growing library of content created by other players. With the recent VR integration, one of the first games that appeared was a recreation of the popular game, Beat Saber<\/em>. Another player the equivalent of a VR version of Motorstorm Apocalypse<\/em>, a racing game known for its off-roading and crazy environmental events. Given that the world and tracks in this fan-game can change in real-time, VR really lets players explore the full scope of the title. Another player has been creating their own version of Halo Infinite<\/em><\/a> after the game’s mixed reactions during the Xbox Games Showcase. This realistic title looks and feels like a Halo game while placing players in the shoes of Master Chief himself.<\/p>\n

For those who love to create, Dreams<\/em> has smoothly integrated PSVR<\/a> into its build systems. If someone is building a game and would like to see it in VR, all it takes is a press of a button: there is no need to create two alternative versions of the game. For those who may opt to create something with one type of vision support, PSVR can be turned off or made VR-exclusive.
