No more in-depth details are provided as of yet. This technically prevents companies like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgr.in\/tag\/tsmc\/\">TSMC<\/a>&nbsp;or SMIC (of Chinese origin) from making chips for Huawei.<\/p>\n<p>However, the United States has granted a 120-day grace period before the rule takes effect. With this,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgr.in\/tag\/tsmc\/\">TSMC<\/a>&nbsp;can continue supplying chips to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgr.in\/tag\/hisilicon-soc\/\">HiSilicon<\/a>&nbsp;until September 15, 2020.
