The year-old operating system begins beta testing for the upcoming release of iPadOS 14. Developers looking to try out the iPadOS 14 beta will need to have the following hardware:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<ul>\n<li>iPad Pro (11 inch), iPad Pro (12.9 inch) (4th generation) iPad Pro (11 inch), iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (3rd generation)<\/li>\n<li>iPad Pro (10.5 inch), iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (2nd generation)<\/li>\n<li>iPad (5th generation, 6th generation, 7th generation)<\/li>\n<li>iPad Mini (5th generation)<\/li>\n<li>iPad Air (3rd Generation)<\/li>\n<li>iPad mini 4<\/li>\n<li>iPad Air 2<\/li>\n<li>iPad Pro (9.7-inch)<\/li>\n<li>iPad Pro (12.9-inch)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p><em>AppleInsider<\/em>, and Apple itself, strongly recommend users don&#8217;t install the betas on primary devices or hardware they deem as &#8220;mission-critical&#8221; at all, as there is the highly remote possibility of data loss or other issues.
