A shared frustration of creative professionals, who are forced to stare at their desktops for hours on end, is the design inconsistency of Adobe’s Creative Cloud<\/a> icons. And while the creative software giant unveiled a complete brand revamp<\/a> a few weeks back, the logos are still just as—if not more—jarring.<\/p>\n Critics are decrying that app icons with previously proper distinctions have become too consistent, while areas that required uniformity are now eye-twitchingly different.<\/p>\n Most unsettlingly, the icons for Adobe Prelude, Character Animator, Rush, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Animate suddenly seem to share the same color, while some of the graphics vary in size.<\/p>\n Creative professionals also bemoan that the text in the icons isn’t consistently aligned, an especially unpleasant sight when viewed aside each other on their docks.<\/p>\n “This comes from a company that specializes in art and design overall. Its madness getting rid of the colors too. If you’re going to make them the same color you need to stop using letters & use more meaningful symbols.
