BRIDGEWATER, NEW JERSEY – <\/b>\u00a0<\/span>ProfVal<\/span><\/a>, a New Jersey-based provider of immigration documentation services, is expanding its <\/span>Immigration Business Plan services<\/span><\/a> to help the clients of immigration attorneys establish the businesses described in their petitions. Alongside customized business plans for E-2, L-1, EB-1 and EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) cases, ProfVal can assist entrepreneurs with website development, operational systems, business software, and the selection of payroll and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) providers.<\/span><\/p>\n

ProfVal develops immigration business plans in collaboration with its sister company, <\/span>GuidedVenture<\/span><\/a>, a business consulting firm. The expanded services are designed to support the attorney’s legal strategy. Attorneys direct each case, and ProfVal does not provide legal advice.<\/span><\/p>\n

For many entrepreneur clients, the business plan matters beyond the initial filing. An L-1A petition for a new U.S. office is generally approved for one year, and the extension request must show that the office is operating and can support a managerial or executive position. E-2 renewals require evidence that the enterprise is operating and is not marginal. When a client’s actual operations differ substantially from the plan, attorneys may need to address that gap in later filings.<\/span><\/p>\n

ProfVal’s approach is intended to narrow that gap from both directions: plans built on realistic assumptions, followed by optional practical help putting those assumptions into operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

“An immigration business plan should reflect a business that a professional genuinely intends to build,” said Zachary Johnson, Ph.D., founder of ProfVal and a former tenured professor of marketing. “For many entrepreneurs, this represents a substantial personal and financial commitment. ProfVal’s immigration business plans incorporate customized market research, competitive analysis, operational assumptions, and financial projections suited to the client’s investment, industry, and staffing. Unsupported revenue projections or hiring assumptions may make a plan seem stronger on paper, but they offer little practical value to a client investing substantial personal resources, and they can create problems if later filings require evidence that the business was developed as described.<\/span><\/p>\n

The emphasis of each plan follows the requirements of the visa category and the attorney’s strategy:<\/span><\/p>\n
