The gap between detection and safe remediation.<\/b> The report will examine the widening operational gap between an issue being identified and that issue being safely closed. Contributors will address how ownership models, organizational handoffs, competing priorities, change-management requirements, skills shortages, and the growing scale of cloud environments affect remediation outcomes. The research will also explore why generic playbooks and one-size-fits-all automation can fall short when every environment has different dependencies, business context, and safety controls.<\/span><\/p>\n

AI is changing both sides of the equation.<\/b> As AI-assisted development accelerates how quickly code and infrastructure change, security teams are also evaluating AI-powered and agentic approaches to investigation, prioritization, validation, and remediation.
