Junction has secured significant new capital from Korelya, a key long-term investor, as well as additional support from both existing and new investors. This investment will enable the company to restructure and focus on its core travel technology offering, consolidating its business operations to address growing customer demand.<\/span><\/p>\n

A full reset of the business has been in play since January, fully concentrating the company on delivering the travel sector\u2019s best multimodal marketplace. Through significant investment in the creation of a seamless, one-stop global platform for the industry, the company is addressing a new generation of AI native customers and business demand that is reshaping the whole sector. The restructured operations enhance agility and sharpen focus on developing this product to meet the new generation of demand and expectation across the industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

New senior appointments announced today include deputy CEO Herve Gilg, (travel and operational efficiency expert with a track record of execution; Ex Alvarez & Marshal), and Matthew Turner, who joins as Chairman of the Board. Matthew Turner is currently senior partner and leading the Triton UK conglomerate. Matthew has held a number of senior positions across the international finance landscape, including Head of Global Private Equity at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where is managed funds of more than $20 billion dollars. Herve and Matthew will work closely with CEO Stefan Cars to drive the company\u2019s ambitious growth strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n
