    In these circumstances, TRINFICO executives decided not to forcefully speed up the growth of the company. Stability and security were more important to them than momentary leadership. The systematic approach to goal-setting and wide risk diversification brought the desired results: the company quickly built a positive reputation and became one of the leaders in its segment.<\/p>\n

    1998 Russian Financial Crisis<\/h2>\n

    Prioritizing security allowed the company to overcome many economic crises without serious losses. As a result, TRINFICO built greater trust with clients and steadily increased the volume of operations. The company was forced to reduce the latter only in 1998, when the collapse of the \u201cGKO pyramid scheme\u201d resulted in a sovereign default.<\/p>\n

    It is important to note that TRINFICO\u2019s analytics team predicted the crisis several months before it happened. However, nothing could be done about it at that point and the company was forced to reduce the volume of operations. That said, it still managed to survive in difficult conditions, while dozens of large market players were forced to shut down their businesses.<\/p>\n

    Later on, Oleg Belay and other TRINFICO leaders noted that they had learned important lessons from the events of those years. For example, they began to pay even more attention to asset protection issues. Competent asset management allowed the company to quickly restore and then increase the volume of operations.<\/p>\n

    Soon, TRINFICO was able to expand its service offerings. Subsequently, it began managing assets of non-governmental pension funds and then of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. During this time, the company was also promptly developing new services based on emerging financial instruments and introducing shares of the largest Russian companies to the markets.<\/p>\n

    Further Growth and Current Results<\/h2>\n

    In 2013, TRINFICO underwent a consolidation. Oleg Belay became its majority shareholder and assumed the role of CEO.
