Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. announced it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 10,000,000 shares of its class A common stock. The underwriters will be granted a 30-day option by the Company to purchase up to an additional 1,500,000 shares.<\/p>\n
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes, including further increasing its liquidity and supporting the origination of additional commercial mortgage loans and other target assets and investments.<\/p>\n
Citigroup, BofA Securities, Barclays, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.<\/p>\n
