There may not have been any fans in attendance at Atlanta Motor Speedway during Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t plenty of excitement.<\/p>\n

The betting favorite coming into the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 was points leader Kevin Harvick, who took home the checkered flag for his third career win in Atlanta and his second win of the season.<\/p>\n

Harvick led the most laps Sunday, but Martin Truex Jr. earned his first two stage wins of the year. He took Stages 1 and 2 before falling to third place at the finish.<\/p>\n

NASCAR at Atlanta highlights from Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500<\/h2>\n

7:02 p.m. —  <\/strong> Kevin Harvick wins it by nearly four seconds. That’s his third Cup Series win in Atlanta. Kyle Busch finishes second, Martin Truex Jr. finishes third.<\/p>\n

6:54 p.m. —  <\/strong> Kevin Harvick’s lead is up to over three seconds ahead of Martin Truex Jr. with 15 laps to go.<\/p>\n

6:45 p.m. —  <\/strong> With 30 laps remaining, Kevin Harvick still has the lead, with Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Busch, Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin in the top five.<\/p>\n

6:33 p.m. —<\/strong>   After a wave of pit stops, Kevin Harvick still has the lead with 53 laps to go, with Martin Truex Jr. Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney behind him.<\/p>\n

6:18 p.m. —  <\/strong> Kevin Harvick still leads with 80 laps to go; Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski and Chase Elliott round out the top five.<\/p>\n

6:02 p.m. —  <\/strong> Kevin Harvick has taken the lead with 105 laps to go, with Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch right behind him.<\/p>\n

5:50 p.m. —  <\/strong> Make it back-to-back stage wins for Martin Truex Jr. as he takes Stage 2. Can he complete the hat trick? Ryan Blaney finishes second, Denny Hamlin third.<\/p>\n

5:48 p.m. —  <\/strong> Kyle Busch won the race off pit road and has the lead on the restart with four laps to go.<\/p>\n

5:41 p.m. —  <\/strong> Fourth caution of the day out for Michael McDowell. Looks like he got caught by John Hunter Nemechek. Eight laps remaining in Stage 2.<\/p>\n

5:32 p.m. —  <\/strong> Martin Truex Jr. has the lead with 25 laps in Stage 2; Kyle Busch in second, Clint Bowyer in third.<\/p>\n

5:19 p.m. —<\/strong>  Clint Bowyer has taken the lead with 46 laps to go after Brad Keselowski pits. Martin Truex Jr. in second, Kyle Busch in third, Denny Hamlin in fourth and Kevin Harvick in fifth.<\/p>\n

5:02 p.m. — <\/strong> Bowyer is at the top, leding Truex by just about a half second, with Elliott, Hamlin and Kyle Busch rounding out the top five on Lap 33 of Stage 2 (138).<\/p>\n

4:50 p.m. — <\/strong> Stage 2 underway, and Truex and Bowyer are fighting for first. <\/p>\n

4:39 p.m. — <\/strong> Martin Truex Jr. takes home his first stage victory of the year, winning Stage 1 in Atlanta.<\/p>\n

4:31 p.m. — <\/strong> Ten laps to go in stage one and half the field is pitting for new rubber.<\/p>\n

4:28 p.m. — <\/strong> John Hunter Nemechek spins out, and we have our second caution of the day.<\/p>\n

4:24 p.m. — <\/strong> Martin Truex Jr. takes over the lead, but Harvick is still on his heels. Harvick is almost 12 seconds up on the third place driver.<\/p>\n

4:14 p.m. —<\/strong> Brad Keselowski was too fast entering pit road, so he faces a penalty. Harvick opens up a bigger lead over Kurt Busch, stretching to almost five seconds.<\/p>\n

4:12 p.m. — <\/strong> Keselowski, Logano, Truex and others pit on Lap 69.<\/p>\n

4:10 p.m. — <\/strong> Jimmie Johnson currently sitting in 10th place, a few tenths of a second behind Denny Hamlin.<\/p>\n

4:10 p.m. — <\/strong> Blaney and Almirola fighting to get into the top 10; they’re currently fighting for 11th.<\/p>\n

4:02 p.m. — <\/strong> Tyler Reddick and Chase Elliott are jockeying for position, as Elliott slips in and out of seventh.<\/p>\n

3:57 p.m. — <\/strong> Harvick leads Truex by a second after 38 laps.<\/p>\n

3:53 p.m. — <\/strong> Joey Logano wins the race off of pit road and has the lead on the restart. After 30 laps, it’s him, Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch and Chase Elliott up front.<\/p>\n

3:45 p.m. — <\/strong> Competition caution is out after 25 laps: Chase Elliott still leads, Aric Almirola in second, Joey Logano in third and Kevin Harvick in fourth.<\/p>\n

3:43 p.m. — <\/strong> Chase Elliott still has the lead after 20 laps; Aric Almirola, Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch fill out the top five.<\/p>\n

3:37 p.m. — <\/strong> Chase Elliott has led all 10 taps so far, his first laps led at Atlanta in a Cup Series race.<\/p>\n

3:32 p.m. — <\/strong> Green flag waves and we are underway.<\/p>\n
