Richard brings a wealth of experience in civil litigation and labor and employment law, further strengthening Sterlington’s capabilities in these critical areas.<\/p>\n

Richard has been a partner at Greenberg Traurig and Seyfarth Shaw, among other firms. He was also formerly head of HR and labor and employment law for Frontier Telephone. He is recognized as a New York Metro Super Lawyer and named an Employment Law Trailblazer by the National Law Journal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Richard is a seasoned litigator, mediator, and arbitrator, with expertise in a broad spectrum of employment-related issues and has substantial experience negotiating union labor agreements, litigating unfair labor charges, and handling grievance arbitrations.<\/p>\n

Richard is also recognized as a thought leader in the emerging field of algorithm bias and employment discrimination, particularly with predictive AI tools used for resume reviews and promotion decisions. His expertise extends to gender discrimination, especially issues involving gender identity.\u00a0He drafts policies and consults with developers on issues related to access to employment and public accommodations for gender non-conforming individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n
