The Honor Play 4 series of smartphones falls under the mid-range 5G<\/a> device ecosystem. While Honor Play 4 sports a 64MP primary sensor, the Honor Play 4 Pro features a 40MP primary camera (Sony IMX600 RYYB). While the international availability of the Honor Play 4 lineup of smartphones is still unknown, we now have all the details surrounding the pricing and the full specifications of the devices in China. Starting with the Honor Play 4, the device is currently up for pre-order in China. The device is available in 2 memory variants – one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 1,799 and one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 1,999.<\/p>\n

Coming to the Honor Play 4 Pro, the company has launched two variants of the device – both with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While the first one is priced at CNY 2,899, there is a special edition with IR temperature sensor, which will cost interested buyers CNY 2,999.<\/p>\n

Honor Play 4: Specifications and features<\/h2>\n

Starting with the display of the device, the Honor Play 4 flaunts a large 6.81-inch Full HD+ display with a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. At the back, the Honor Play 4 sports a quadruple<\/a> rear camera setup, which consists of a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth of field lens. The device is available in three color options – Iceland Phantom, Phantom Blue, and Phantom Night Black.<\/p>\n

Under the hood, the Honor Play 4 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G mobile platform, which is clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Coming to the OS, the Honor Play 4 boots the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Speaking of the battery, the Honor Play 4 features a 4,300mAh battery, which has support for up to 22.5W of fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. The Honor Play 4 features VC liquid cooling technology and a 12 layer heat dissipation structure.<\/p>\n

Honor Play 4 Pro: Specifications and features<\/h2>\n

The Honor Play 4 Pro comes with a smaller 6.57-inch panel with a dual punch-hole cutout for selfie cameras. The pill-shaped punch-hole makes room for a 32MP selfie snapper, which is accompanied by an 8MP secondary lens. Moving around on the rear of the device, the Honor Play 4 Pro features a dual<\/a> rear camera, consisting of a 40MP primary camera and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device is available in three color schemes – Mecha Blue, Icelandic Illusion, and Fantasy Night Black.<\/p>\n

Powering the Honor Play 4 Pro is an octa-core<\/a> Kirin 990 5G processor, which has support for dual-mode 5G. The Honor Play 4 Pro ships with Android 10<\/a> OS out of the box, which is coated with Magic UI 3.0 skin on top. The device supports up to 40W fast charging<\/a>.
