Morgan Wallen<\/span> is taking it upon himself to get back into the swing of performing \u2014 even as he continues to be outcast by some in the music industry for drunkenly spewing a racial slur last year.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHere we come,\u201d Wallen tweeted on Monday when he announced \u201cThe Dangerous Tour,\u201d which expects him to be on the road in the U.S. for nearly eight months in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n For the road trip, Wallen is set to kick off the first leg on Feb. 3 in Evansville, Indiana, and wrap up on Sept. 24 at Los Angeles\u2019 Staples Center.<\/span><\/p>\n Promoted by Live Nation, the 46-city tour will see stops at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Feb. 9 and Nashville\u2019s Bridgestone Arena on March 17.<\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cWasted on You\u201d performer became embattled in scandal when he hurled the n-word in a video captured by a neighbor and posted to social media in 2020, for which the 28-year-old was subsequently suspended by his record label, Big Loud Records, and conglomerates like iHeartRadio, which pulled his music from its stations.<\/span><\/p>\n Morgan Wallen, who was not invited to attend the Country Music Awards in November despite having an album nominated for best of the year, is invited back to Country Thunder Wisconsin in July 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n Wallen canceled all 2021 summer appearances, including his scheduled performance last July at Country Thunder near Twin Lakes following backlash that arose early in the year when a video surfaced of Wallen using a racial slur. Eric Church replaced Wallen in the Country Thunder Wisconsin lineup.<\/span><\/p>\n Promoters announced Monday via email that Wallen would be a headliner at Country Thunder Wisconsin, when the venue returns July\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Many artists are returning to live performances as the coronavirus pandemic restrictions begin to change.<\/span><\/p>\n The Wasted On You singer took to social media to announce 47 dates for his upcoming 2022 tour.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n On Monday, Wallen posted an image of the album cover that depicts him holding his guitar, the caption read \u201cHere we come.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The caption also reveals the specifics of when the tickets will be on sale for fans.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cPre-sale for the first half of the tour will be tomorrow 11\/16
