Researchers and clinicians from the Veteran\u2019s Administration in Bronx, New York, collaborated to test their population with spinal cord injury for risk of major cardiac events, including heart attack, stroke, and cardiac death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpinal cord injury patients have extremely sedentary lifestyles and, consequently, cardiac disease is highly prevalent,\u201d said William A.
