MediaTek has just announced the Dimensity 820<\/a> processor, and Xiaomi has confirmed<\/a> that the Redmi 10X series will offer the chipset (h\/t: FoneArena<\/em><\/a>).<\/p>\n Xiaomi says the Redmi 10X series will be unveiled on May 26. However, the image used on the Redmi Weibo account shows a phone with a slightly different camera housing compared to the TENAA image seen above. So we’re likely set to see a standard and Pro\/Plus model then. We’ll just have to wait until May 26 for more details, but it’s clearly going to be a powerful mid-ranger.<\/p>\n Original article, May 15 2020 (3:27AM ET):<\/strong> Xiaomi has been at the forefront of affordable 5G phones, with its ~$650 Mi Mix 3 5G<\/a> being among the cheapest 5G devices last year. But it does line up with the Dimensity 1000<\/a> processor.
