Cutting Back on Plastic<\/b><\/p>\n

With the manufacturing industry one of the top offenders when it comes to waste, every little thing that helps reduce the impact counts.<\/span><\/p>\n

With sustainability in mind, all of Dedicated Stars\u2019 products are shipped in packaging that respects the environment as much as the contents.<\/span><\/p>\n

DTG single-product orders are packaged in just one poly matter bag to reduce the unnecessary use of plastic. Posters are shipped in triangular boxes rather than traditional tubes to avoid the use of plastic end caps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reducing the Carbon Footprint<\/b><\/p>\n

Local fulfillment centers aren\u2019t just good for the planet, they\u2019re good for customers, resulting in expedited order delivery and a reduced carbon footprint.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By partnering with Printer, Dedicated Stars can now deliver 78 percent of all orders in the same region as they\u2019re fulfilled, resulting in a happier customer and a happier future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategically located fulfillment centers on both sides of the US \u2013 in Charlotte, North Carolina and Los Angeles, California \u2013 along with Canada, Mexico, Latvia, Spain, Australia, and Japan ensures faster shipping times, lower shipping costs, and less CO\u2082 emissions from transportation.<\/span><\/p>\n

High Tech Printing\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Overproduction isn\u2019t the only environmental burden created by the manufacturing industry. Outdated technology plays a significant role in the creation of waste and harmful by-products.<\/span><\/p>\n

In partnering with Printer, Dedicated Stars is working to ensure all of its customer\u2019s orders are fulfilled using technology that works in harmony with the environment, rather than against it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Garments are printed using the direct-to-garment (DTG) printing method to minimize waste and ensure a fade-resistant finish. Kornit printers that use almost no wastewater and less energy than standard printers keep the carbon footprint as low as possible. Inks are water-based, biodegradable, 100 percent vegan, and free of harmful chemicals.<\/span><\/p>\n

For posters, Epson inks that are certified by GreenGuard are used. All-over print products are produced using Mimaki printers and Mimaki inks that are certified with an OEKO-TEX Eco Passport.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any leftover ink is disposed of safely and in full accordance with the supplier guidelines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
