There are a number of misunderstandings surrounding cbd and the idea that it needs to be regulated like a prescription drug. First, you don\u2019t need a doctor\u2019s prescription to buy CBD oil or other products that contain CBD. Second, there are no health claims in regards to CBD and it is not known for treating any medical condition. These two misconceptions are both false.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many people are led to believe that they must have a doctor\u2019s prescription in order to benefit from the healing benefits of CBD. This is not the case. Many people can benefit from the healing properties of CBD even without a doctor\u2019s prescription. This is why CBD has become a very popular ingredient in many different types of cbd products.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is Not a Psychoactive Substance<\/b><\/p>\n

Therefore, you can test for other substances, including THC, and still come up with negative results. It is clear that CBD is not a substance that is dangerous when used correctly and that many CBD myths are based on ignorance rather than fact.<\/span><\/p>\n

CBD Doesn\u2019t Get You High<\/b><\/p>\n

Perhaps the biggest myth around is that using products with CBD in them will create some sort of \u201chigh,\u201d or that somehow the presence of CBD will convert into some sort of psychoactive substance when consumed by patients. This is simply not true. In fact, there are very few studies that have been conducted on the subject of whether or not CBD causes some sort of \u201chigh,\u201d but many medical professionals believe that it has no effect on the human body at all. CBD is Not Carcinogenic<\/b><\/p>\n

Perhaps the most common CBD-related myth surrounds the idea that CBD is \u201ccarcinogenic.\u201d While there is certainly some truth to this claim, there is also a large degree of truth to the fact that CBD does not convert into anything that would cause addiction. Therefore, CBD is not going to make someone act crazy or cause them to lose their grip on reality. There have actually been a number of studies that have directly addressed this issue and have found that CBD has neither increased nor decreased the levels of dopamine in the brains of subjects. Therefore, the use of CBD products that contain CBD is not going to cause some sort of mental disorder or addiction.<\/span><\/p>\n
