Several new games were launched and many new features were added to the existing games to make them interesting and satiate the appetites of the new players. Half Life: Alyx<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a long absence from the gaming world, Valve launched the game Half Life: Alyx in 2020 surprising their fans. Half Life: Alyx is a virtual reality which is played as a first person shooter. It revolves around the events that take place in between the two previously launched Half Life games where the players are the protagonist Alyx Vance and are on a mission to retrieve a superweapon from aliens Combine who have dominated Earth. World of Warcraft or WoW has been a favorite among the gamers since its launch in 2004. Counter Strike is popular game series which involves multiple players. Similar to Half Life, it is first person shooter game where two terrorist teams battle against each other where one team is committing acts of terror while the other is trying to prevent it. Several series of the game have been launched such as Condition Zero, Source and Global Offensive. The gameplay of this game makes it an interesting one where the players have to battle against the other team in several game modes at the end of which they are rewarded with some in game currency based on their performance. The players have to use this currency to upgrade their weapons in order to level up for the next level.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fortnite<\/strong><\/p>\n

Developed by Epic Games, Fortnite has a few game versions but the one that particularly became an overnight success and crowd favorite was the Battle Royal version which drew nearly 125 million people in a short time. Fortnite Battle Royale is a multiplayer game where the players have to compete against each other alone, in twos or in a team of 3-4 players trying to scavenge for resources and weapons in a continuously shrinking circumference while also eliminating others players.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grand Theft Auto<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grand Theft Auto is an action game series set in a fictional city where the players have to engage in several adventures, activities, driving and shooting in order to move the story forward. It\u2019s quite life like and interesting where the enemies are people who have disrupted the player\u2019s progress and must be eliminated to proceed in the game. The players must complete the missions in order to progress in the storyline .<\/span><\/p>\n
