On your visa, a round trip cruise will not affect the stay period. If we consider your cruise to be a round trip cruise then ask your cruise operator or travel agent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Extending my Visa:<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is not possible to extend an ETA or Visitor visa Under the Australian Migration Law. Before your current visa expires, you must apply for a new visa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In different cases, you can apply to stay in Australia as a Visitor (tourism stream) if you can support yourself. Go through Visitor Visa processing Arrangements, if you have already applied for a new Visitor visa in Australia. Due to entry restriction, you are unable to return home if your Visitor visa is expiring and you may be eligible for the COVID-19 Pandemic Event Visa when you cannot meet the requirements of another visa. This explanation includes evidence and a statement that shows you don\u2019t have enough funds to pay another visa application charge (VAC) due to some reasons.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have an opportunity for employment in a COVID-19 critical industry sector, you may also be eligible for the COVID-19 Pandemic Event Visa if your Visitor Visa is expiring. you can also move to your other visa option as per conditions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Applying for a New Visa:<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We support you to apply:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not before 4 weeks before your current visa ceases<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">whenever possible, in ImmiAccount<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Until a decision is made on your visa application, you may be obtained a bridging visa that will keep you lawful in Australia when you apply for a new Visa. Before you apply for another visa you will need to request a waiver of this condition, if you have a \u2018no further stay condition\u201d attached to your visa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can apply for another visitor visa even after the expiry of your current substantive visa as long as it is within 28 days of the expiry date if your visa has already expired. According to this condition, before your current visa ceases, you should apply for a new visa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>8558 condition (stay in Australia between 12 to 18 months\u2019 period)<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This condition never prevents you to apply for a new visa application as this cannot waive. by this condition holding, you can apply for a new visa application. If you are in Australia at the end of the stay period, then your visa automatically ceases.
