Babylon Village Board Appoints Matthew T. McDonough, Esq. As Babylon Village Attorney<\/strong><\/p>\n

Babylon, NY \u2013 \u2013 Matthew T. McDonough, the founding member of McDonough PLLC, was unanimously appointed by the Babylon Village Board during its March 23, 2021 meeting to serve as the Babylon Village Attorney. Mr. McDonough was recently sworn in by Mayor Mary Adams. He succeeds Gerard Glass who resigned the position at the end of 2020, and will be paid an annual salary of $75,000.<\/p>\n

Prior to his appointment, Mr. McDonough founded McDonough PLLC, a Long Island law firm focusing on counseling and representing clients in sophisticated matters involving corporate law, tax and bankruptcy. He received his B.A. degree from New York University and his J.D. degree from the City University of New York School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. McDonough served as a judicial law clerk to a New York State Supreme Court Justice. Mr. McDonough also serves as a Board Member of Jovia Financial Credit Union and was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of the Town of Babylon Industrial Development Agency.<\/p>\n
