HR Open is excited to announce James Ireland to serve as the new Executive Director of HR Open. James joins the HR Open team from the Allegheny County Medical Society (ACMS) located in Pittsburgh, PA.\u00a0He brings his nearly eighteen years of experience leading and building non-profit programs and services to the Consortium and looks forward to continuing the work to launch the HR Open Standards Foundation. James holds a B.S. in organizational leadership from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and is an active board member and previous President of the Pittsburgh Society of Association Executives as well as a long-time member of the American Society of Association Executives.<\/p>\n

At ACMS, James served as Vice President of Member Engagement and Digital Strategy.\u00a0During his successful tenure at ACMS, he introduced data-driven strategies and tactical action plans to improve operational performance and delivered innovative member growth strategies increasing engagement of members in training by 75%, and active membership by 27%.<\/p>\n
