When it comes to Japanese sports cars, it\u2019s impossible to overlook Nissan\u2019s iconic Fairlady line-up which has combined timeless styling and awesome driving dynamics from day dot.<\/p>\n

Arguably the most iconic of the bunch isn\u2019t actually a Nissan, but instead a Datsun, and comes in the form of the Datsun 240Z, Datsun 260z, and Datsun 280z which was heavily influenced by Jaguar\u2019s iconic E-Type in the styling department.<\/p>\n

In Japan, this coupe was powered by a 2.0-litre engine, while America got a larger 2.4-litre six-cylinder (hence the name) growing to a 2.6 litre and then a 2.8 litre six-cylinder.<\/p>\n

This fully restored Datsun 260z for sale (now homologated for European Roads) had 113kW from the inline-six that featured upgraded Weber carburettors, power steering and more powerful brakes.<\/p>\n

On the inside, the interior was one of the most driver-focused that sports car fans had ever seen, with the now-iconic triple gauges taking pride of place in the centre of the dash.<\/p>\n

This example that\u2019s listed at Bavaria sports cars near Munich looks to have undergone a painstaking full restoration with over 1500 hours restoring original metal and parts, ranging from the rebuilt carbs to the immaculate leather interior, and the silver metal grey exterior.<\/p>\n

Over the past few decades, Datsun S30 prices have handsomely appreciated, with some clean examples fetching more than $100,000 at auction.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, one of the GT-R-powered Z432 models managed to fetch $1.2 million at auction, making it one of the most expensive Nissans ever sold.<\/p>\n

First registered in West Coast and now offered as fully Registered German car, this Datsun 260z is still a relatively new arrival, but is ready to hit the best roads our beautiful country has to offer.<\/p>\n
