Anamika Madan stated<\/a> that we can expect more people to be interested in immunity boosters as opposed to foods that are simply filling. People will be more concerned with the roles ingredients play in improving their overall physical and mental health. Anamika Madan cited a study by Market Research, which stated that 50 percent of consumers said they took more supplements to improve their immune health in 2020. <\/span><\/p>\n

This will probably result in more people eating healthier items, but it\u2019s also something to look out for in terms of advertising tricks.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Anamika Madan explained that mental health has become a major concern for a growing number of people during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic, and the lock-downs driven by it, have caused many people to reflect on their mental health and how to maintain a more positive mental state. Anamika Madan stated<\/a> this may put more of a focus on certain vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, like B vitamins, zinc, healthy fats, fibers, and more. Probiotics have also been linked to a healthier gut and mental well-being, so we\u2019ll likely see a rise in the popularity of fermented items like kombucha, kimchi, and sauerkraut.<\/span><\/p>\n
