Animal rights <a href=\"https:\/\/www.startus.cc\/people\/brent_kloecker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">advocate Brent Kloecker<\/a> says that he is excited about what he is seeing. \u201cI think it\u2019s great that there are so many people out there who have chosen to open their hearts and homes to animals who want nothing more than to be loved.\u201d, Brent Kloecker said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cMost people who choose to adopt or foster a pet do so intending to help an animal. According to a scientific statement issued by the American Heart Association, owning a pet can reduce the risk factors associated with heart disease. \u201cDogs, in particular, are great companions for people who want to improve or maintain their health.
