Matrix Renewables, a global independent renewables power producer, today announced that it will acquire a 154 MW portfolio in Chile from US-founded developer Verano Capital. The projects, which range in size from 3 to 9 MWac, are being developed under the country\u2019s PMGD Program.<\/p>\n

The portfolio consists of twenty-five PMGD solar projects with a total capacity of 154 MW, located in 4 different regions of Chile.  Part of the portfolio is already operational, in construction or breaking ground in the coming months.<\/p>\n

This acquisition consolidates Matrix Renewables\u2019 position in the exciting and fast growing Chilean PMGD distributed solar market, where it now controls over 330 MW under operation, in construction, or at a late stage of development.<\/p>\n
