Although it was speculated that the lite version of the processor would be introduced alongside it, this does not happen in the end. In this days, the company has introduced a new processor which is also focused on the most powerful devices, which will be introduce during this year. However, it is also not a lite version, but a completely new model of the Snapdragon 870 processor. The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vosveteit.sk\/qualcomm-necakane-predstavil-procesor-snapdragon-870-pre-aky-typ-zakaznika-bude-primarne-urcenym\/\">Vosveteit<\/a>\u00a0portal draws attention to the introduction of the new mobile processor.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Snapdragon 870 was introduced, which will be power flagships smartphones<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Although the newly introduced processor will not be an adequate opponent for the Snapdragon 888, it will still not be ashamed of its performance. The reason is that it will currently be the company\u2019s second most powerful processor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Snapdragon 870 5G mobile platform is a powerful connectivity unit that includes the Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System and the Qualcomm\u00ae FastConnect <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.0\/72x72\/2122.png\" alt=\"\u2122\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/> 6800 subsystem. Experience high speeds, increased capacity and wide availability with 5G and Wi-Fi 6 capabilities regardless of where you connect with 5G,\u201dwrites Qualcomm in a published press release.<\/p>\n<p>It also outperforms the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, which can be found in last year\u2019s most powerful smartphones like Xiaomi Mi 10, Galaxy S20 (in some countries), Poco F2 Pro, etc.. However, the difference in performance will not be so significant. In essence, it is a copy of this processor, which is manufactured by a 7nm manufacturing process. But the new 870 has small difference. The main is that its maximum clock speed is 3.2GHz. In practice, this means that the performance of the processor is approximately 3% higher. It is also worth mentioning that the Adreno 650 graphics chip works at a new frequency of 670MHz (compared to 587MHz in the case of the 865 processor).<\/p>\n<p>As you probably already know, the processor will be primarily intended for manufacturers\u2019 flagship smartphones. At the same time, we can expect it to be slightly cheaper compared to the Snapdragon 888 processor.
