­­Muneer Lyati – Master of Engines and Vehicles

A mechanical engineer by profession and an expert in engines and vehicles, Muneer Liyati is a graduate of the college of technology, one of the renowned universities of Saudi Arabia. At the age of 38, he has achieved and excelled in his field much more than the people of his age do. From being a bright student to being a technical and vocational trainer, Muneer has achieved and accomplished a lot during this journey and polished numerous skills.

Muneer stepped into the work field by doing cooperative training as a maintenance engineer and later as an operator at Al Hamrani Fuchs petroleum. The cooperative-training enhanced his socializing skills, which provided him an opportunity to deal and communicate with various customers daily. And now Muneer can socialize well with the customers, benefitting the companies.

Not only this, the tenure at the two busiest companies i.e. Al Jazirah vehicles company and Al bin Ladin company, brushed his resilience skills, where he worked as a services supervisor and safety supervisor, respectively. This experience taught Muneer to work under pressure, complete the unaccomplished tasks on time, and handle the pressure efficiently.

Even though being a Saudi and having Arabic as a national language, Muneer has strong English speaking and listening skills. He learned this skill by taking a short training course in English. And being a multitasker, he was also a secretary for the engineering students’ association that provided him opportunities to enhance his communication skills. Writing memos, minutes of the meeting, and presenting it to the members were some of the many tasks Lyati performed, which broadened his skillset.

People with strong leadership skills are successful but rare. Muneer underwent a short training course on leadership and also experienced leadership by presenting students to the administration as a student leader in his college.

Muneer Liyati also has impressive managerial skills to ensure a healthier, safer, and sustainable workplace. He took training at the Institute of Occupational safety and health, which provides licensed training in safety and health and is known globally. During the safety training course, he also learned diving and firefighting, the two most important self-defense skills.

Moreover, Muneer also has efficient computer skills. Being a mechanical engineer, Muneer took an additional course of fundamentals of computing offered by his university to polish his computing skills. It made him good at using MS-excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, Mat Lab, Auto Cad, SAP system, Carriage Work, and Solid System.

Currently, he works as a trainer at technical and vocational training corporation and hopes to develop his career as an engine and vehicle specialist. He aims to provide customer satisfaction by ensuring that they buy high-quality engines through inspection. He has always been an advocate of customer’s rights by providing them the high-quality product they have paid for.  He is also keen on empowering the buyers by delivering their concerns to the national government, NGOs, and other relevant authorities.
