Leave it to the woman who launched Google Image search to put together an outfit that perfectly encapsulates the quarantine era of fashion.
Jennifer Lopez has been having an extremely jet-set summer, bouncing back and forth between her multi-million dollar homes in Malibu, Miami, New York City, and the Hamptons. But on Sunday, she stepped out in Manhattan in an ensemble that looked built for a long weekend spent on the couch.
The pop star wore a vibrant, rainbow-hued tie-dye hoodie from Polo Ralph Lauren with matching sweatpants that are both sold out everywhere. She finished off the outfit with equally eye-catching accessories, including $90 neon-accented Nike Air Force 1s, reflective baby pink $215 For Art’s Sake “Alien” flat-top sunglasses, a more lightly tie-dyed pink and yellow face mask, and her signature Swarovski-encrusted “Bling Cup” by Taylormade Bling.
While this outfit is basically the most low-key a diva can dress, Lopez’s last few months have been anything but. Aside from her pandemic travels, the singer has been busy promoting World of Dance, hitting the recording studio, riding around the beaches of Florida on an elliptical bike, swapping her $8 million Malibu home for a $1.4 million one in Encino, and celebrating her 51st birthday. That’s enough activity to make anyone want to slip into some sweats for the remainder of quarantine.
