From J Balvin to Doja Cat, Here Are the Artists Performing at the 2020 MTV VMAs

The first batch of MTV VMAs performers have finally been revealed! On Aug. 4, MTV announced that Doja Cat, J Balvin, and BTS will be taking the stage at this year’s ceremony as it makes its return to New York City’s Barclays Center on Aug. 30. While a host hasn’t been announced yet, we do know the award show will be mixing things up by featuring performances from various locations throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island to honor the spirit and resilience of New York. Nominations have also already been announced, and Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are leading the pack with nine nods each thanks in large part to their “Rain on Me” collaboration.
