Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 leaks in hands-on video: Watch it here!

Yet another Samsung device has leaked ahead of the company’s August 5 event. The purported Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is the subject of a video published by YouTube channel TechTalkTV. The video was reportedly created by one of the channel’s subscribers.

We don’t get a lengthy look at the watch in the vertical video, but we can glean a fair amount from it nonetheless. For one, the clip showcases the purported 41mm model which features a 1.2-inch round display with two buttons on its right-hand side. The rotating bezel makes a welcome return too for glossing through menus and apps. Samsung’s wearable UI seemingly hasn’t changed much, still sporting rounded icons with additional and familiar swipe controls to boot. The device handled in the video also suggests that earlier renders published by Evan Blass and a live photo from a Taiwanese regulator may be accurate.

According to the YouTube channel, the smartwatch will also be offered in a larger 45mm guise with a 1.4-inch display, echoing earlier rumors. Both sizes will allegedly sport an IP68 rating with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Built-in GPS is also allegedly included along with an ECG and a heart rate monitor. Also mentioned in the video is the presence of Gorilla Glass DX and MIL-STD-810G durability. Both features appeared in previous leaks too.

Samsung will debut five key devices at its digital-only Unpacked event next month, including the Galaxy Note 20Galaxy Z Fold 2, and more.
