About the Lawsuit<\/p>\n

HP and certain of its executives are charged with failing to disclose material information during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws. <\/p>\n

On October 3, 2019<\/span>, the Company disclosed that it was abandoning its “four-box” business model, previously touted by the Company as an valuable tool to determine demand and revenue in its Supplies segment, turning instead to a hardware-driven business model that would de-emphasize Supplies revenue, as well as mass layoffs of between 7,000 to 9,000 positions, up to 16% of its global workforce, as a part of major restructuring.<\/p>\n

On this news, the price of HP’s shares plummeted nearly 10%, on unusually high trading volume.<\/p>\n
