<\/strong><\/p>\n Pensacola, Fla. |<\/strong> IMS ExpertServices announced the launch of a new study designed to garner insights into how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the commercial litigation community.<\/p>\n The global COVID-19 pandemic has brought disruption across industries and markets, ushered record unemployment in the U.S., and created unprecedented challenges for commercial litigators, law firms, clients, and courts.<\/p>\n The study is designed to create better understanding around how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting several areas including the retention of commercial litigators and experts, the types of guidance law firms and practitioners are providing to clients related to COVID-19, how specific practice areas and markets throughout the U.S. are being impacted, and the likely effect on the complexity of disputes arising from the pandemic across practice areas.<\/p>\n As part of the study, a flash survey is being used to collect input from private practice attorneys, in-house counsel, experts, industry leaders, and other commercial litigation stakeholders.<\/p>\n Following the collection and analysis of responses from the survey, IMS will host a special virtual analysts’ briefing to discuss the findings and their implications.
