2022 Perodua Myvi Facelift First Impressions

The 2022 Perodua Myvi Facelift runs with many changes and many additional features that make it more expensive, but we must all acknowledge that it is the best of all time.

  • Comes with new D-CVT transmission
  • Safety features and ADAS double the price of the car
  • It is faster and more economical than before.

Since its re-launch, the Perodua Myvi 2022 Facelift has received 14,000 bookings in less than two weeks, and these bookings prove that it is the undisputed leader in Malaysian cars.

Also, this is not a simple facelift – Myvi facelift is a very important issue with its aesthetic updates. Its new D-CVT (D stands for Dual-Mode) for improved refinement, fuel economy and the creation of the Myvi 22.

Exterior

The new Malaysian king of the highway has been given a lot of importance. Design again especially considering that it is just a facelift. Starting from the front, there is a new big grill. The edges are strong diagonal, and the sharp front edges match the x-shaped design motifs of the new bumpers that are fully headed.

There’s a new strip that can be attached to the two upper ends that run from end to end variants. Light Enhancing in Any Factory Standard Car. However, speaking of the high-end variant, you will find the Sporty Black and Silver Body Kit with a front splitter and side skirt.

The black outing mirror that goes to the side. Everything else throughout the range is pretty much unchanged from the predecessor model. All 1.5 variants, including the wheels, have these two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels.

The changes here are again minimal, and the X-shaped design motif is limited to the bumper only for all updates. Again, these are used with sharp diagonal lines, and you will also find this vertical trim at both ends. The front day is running light to mirror the design.Although they came here for aesthetic purposes only.

Performance.

Both the 1.3 and 1.5 liter engines are unchanged from the previous phase Life model 1.3 liter inline-four engine still producing 94 horsepower and 121 Nm of torque. Where 1.5 liters produces 101 horsepower and 136 Newton meters.

The big ticket upgrade here is the new dual mode CVT Gearbox.Which eventually replaces the old 4-speed automatic in all variants of the product. That change actually gave it 20 faster Century Sprint time, especially 11.5 seconds on the 1.3G variant and 10.2 seconds on all 1.5 liter variants at the same time, reducing it to 5 at the same time.

Interior

The driver’s seat has undergone significant changes. The first thing you notice is the new steering wheel. Borrowed from Ativa with a new instrument cluster on the back. Although still an analogue unit, especially in this AV variant. Here you will find an attractive rate design with a colorful TFT mounting info display.

But there’s still the new white Positron-style instrument cluster, with a monochrome LCD screen in the middle. Here again, two high-end variants have got all the goodies, including a new 6.9-inch touch screen infotainment display with software taken directly from Ativa.

The two low-end variants retain their good old button style digital head unit. However, it only gets a 1.5 x variant Bluetooth connection. The digital aircon controller is also provided here. With a new off button, a little reward and a new gearbox change, you get a slightly redesigned gear lever area with a piece of news and b marking.

Which is for sports instead of number three, number two stands for sports and b for engine brakes. Seats I am sure you will see the bright red colour of the AV variant leather seats, which matches the red accents around the aircon vents.

In the lower end variants. You will get a standard fabric seat with side bolsters and a little red tin, just like for 1.5 hours, you get a fabric seat with a snakeskin-like Design Oh. And the 1.5 av variant now comes with a built-in dash cam.

Safety

The next major upgrade to the new product myvi, except for its new look, is Security 3.0. There is an updated autonomous emergency braking system. It can detect cyclists and pedestrians working up to 120 kilometres per hour.

It is no longer limited to three users. It now comes with lane exit support, while here is the av variant. It goes one step further. Adaptive Cruise Control lane Centering Assist Blind Spot Monitor comes with the addition of a Level 2 Autonomous Driver Season feature with cross-traffic alerts and a reverse camera as the top cherry.

Price

The new 2022 product MTV starts at 46000 ringgit for entry-level 1.3 Gerent up to 50 000 ringgit for 1.5 x 54 000 ringgit for 1.5 hours and the whole way is priced at 59 000 ringgit.
