I love it when people show me a new type of technology or application that improves my life and make me better. That is exactly why I created this list because I am hoping to steer you onto a new application that could help you out in a big way! Applications are life-changing if they can fulfill a need or solve one of your problems.
Keep in mind that all of these are my opinion, and there is a chance that you would see no benefit because you have to use for the application. But I really do think that there is something for everyone here. If there isn’t, then stay on the hunt because there are surely apps out there for you.
Measure
The first application is called Measure. Not all of us ever really need to measure anything, but they always come that one time where we wish that we had a way to measure. The lucky thing for you is that our phone is perfectly capable of doing this for us.
Using the Measure application, you can measure anything, and the app will give you a pretty accurate measurement of whatever you need measured. I know that most of us rarely ever need to measure anything, but it is nice to have the peace of mind that you are able to measure anything from your phone after you get Measure.
Google Text to Speech
Another Google application that could be useful to people that do not even know it is Google Text to Speech. Text to speech is basically taking words and software speaking the words to you without you having to read. Think of it as an audiobook reading a book out loud for you to hear instead of reading the content.
Text to speech benefits people in the education and learning department, but there are other uses for it. For instance, the best text to voice software is used to narrate YouTube videos instead of a person actually speaking. The possibilities with this space are endless and the impact that it will have will be incredible.
Trusted Contacts
The last application that I will introduce you to is Trusted Contacts. This is similar to Snapchat maps and Find My iPhone, but with a different twist to it. You can request the location of a trusted contact, and if they do not respond after a certain time their location is sent to you from a while ago.
It really does give people peace of mind and it is perfect for a parent and a child or any loved ones that you worry about their location. They do have to accept you as a trusted contact in the first place, however.
